These are winged beetles, commonly called as fireflies or lightning bugs. They literally throw out fluorescent green light from their body to attract their female mate.
Experience this mesmerizing phenomenon of natural lighting with Unnayan Tours in Fireflies Festival with lakeside stay in MTDC.
A visit to 1400 years old beautifully stone carved Shiva Temple made during the Shilahaar period and the Amruteshwar Temple will also be a part of this Tour.

Kindly note that the fireflies are a natural phenomena. Though we do our best to give you the twinkling fireflies experience, their existence totally depends on the weather conditions.
Also note that Bhandardara is a very remote village in Maharashtra and therefore no luxury is available there.
